War Dogs: Top Procurement and Supply Chain Moments

War Dogs is a movie about two arms dealers, Efraim Diveroli and David Packouz who manage to bluff their way into supplying the US Army. It also stars Procurement and Supply Chain (though in very dramatised way).

Top Procurement and Supply Chain Moments

1. Federal Business Opportunities Website; Efraim and David scour this website to find opportunities that larger suppliers won't bother pursuing.

2. Forging supplier relationships with weapons manufacturers all over Eastern Europe.

3. Supplier's reaction when the buyer cancels the contract for non performance.

 4. Invoicing and payment method.

5. Site Visit to Albania.

6. Due diligence; Efraim and David forge 3 years worth of financial records in order to con the US Army into giving them a $300 million dollar contract to supply arms in Afghanistan.

7. Procurement Officers of the US Army are portrayed as six old white dudes who don't seem to mind telling Efraim and David that their bid low balled everyone by $53 million dollars.
